Suspect in 2021 burglary at Worth County restaurant now in police custody

WORTH COUNTY, Iowa – A suspect linked to a burglary last year at a Worth County restaurant, is now in police custody. Jesse Parrott, 27, was arrested Friday on charges of burglary, theft and criminal mischief. Court documents state Jesse Daniel Perrott and another man broke into Gobbler’s Roost and damaged several gaming machines, a jukebox, video security camera, and a computer. They also stole the money containers from the machines, a black money box and the money bags. Parrott is being held in the Worth County Jail on $5,000 bond.
