(ABC 6 News) – The Mower County Sheriff’s Office said just over $7,000 worth of items were taken from a shed near Austin. The sheriff’s office received a call from a man who was renting the shed at a home north of the Jay C Hormel Nature Center and said on Wednesday he noticed the garage door was open and a side door had been pried open. He reported several items were stolen, including Racing go-karts, twenty go-kart tires, and a Mountain bike. No arrests have been made as of Thursday morning. The case has been turned over to investigators.
