The Steele County Safe and Drug Free Coalition’s Take it to the Box program, in partnership with Steele County law enforcement, is hosting a special awareness event in conjunction with the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, this Saturday [April 30], as a safe way to dispose of your unwanted, expired, unused prescriptions. The goal for Saturday is to collect 1,200 pounds of prescription drugs between the two Steele County locations in Owatana and Blooming Prarie, a press release states.
