Mower County has been added to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources list of Minnesota counties where the fire danger conditions are extreme. Mower County officials isued a burn ban until further notice after three fires Tuesday in rural Adams on 640th Avenue at 140th Street, also on 570th Avenue in rural Austin, and a bean field caught fire on 110th Street in rural Rose Creek. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
