PRESTON, Minn. – An Albert Lea man is going to prison for a 2021 police involved shooting. Ibraheem Farah Hamza Khalifa was sentenced Monday to five years behind bars. The 36 year old is accused of violating a restraining order at a home in Rushford, then leading police on chase before he stopped poured gas on his vehicle, and set it on fire. The officer fired two shots but Khalifa was not hit.
