California man busted for drugs during routine traffic stop in Austin sentenced

A California man who was one of two suspects busted for drug possesion during a routine traffic stop in Austin has been sentenced to prison. A Mower County District Court judge ordered 35-year-old Marcos Darrel Brito Friday to serve 65 months in prison, after he was found to be in possesion of over 2,300 grams, or just over five pounds of methamphetamine, marijuana, fentanyl, THC wax and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Oakland Avenue in May.
