BREAKING NEWS – Few details are being released about a death investigation NE of Albert Lea. Rochester police say they found a dead body near Rochester train tracks Saturday night. RPD says they received a call just before midnight about a train hitting a pedestrian who was lying on the tracks near Broadway Ave. N and Civic Center Drive Northeast. RPD, the Canadian Pacific Police Service and the Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating and say the case remains active.
