Southern Minnesota man who murdered his father and set fire to their home last year pleaded guilty

Le Center, MN [n/albert lea] – A southern Minnesota man who murdered his father and then set fire to their home last year has pleaded guilty. 27-year-old Hardy Wills-Traxler recently admitted to a second-degree murder charge through a plea agreement that will result in the dismissal of an arson charge. Wills-Traxler was arrested last year following a traffic stop in Blue Earth County, after the body of his 64-year-old father was found at a residence north of Albert Lea. His sentencing hearing is set for October 18.
