That’s the message Albert Lea fire officials are sending, as part of National Fire prevention week, stressing the importance of having a family fire drill plan in place. Departments use this week to host open houses, training, and educational events, and Albert Lea fire officialas urged families in a relase Wednesday, to go over their evacuation plan in case a fire breaks out at their home. The next open house is on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the S Newton Avenue station in Albert Lea.
