ABC 6 News) – An Austin assisted living facility is facing allegations of misconduct. South Grove Lodge formerly known as Primrose Retirement community in Austin is accused of mistreatment, altering documents, and a long list of errors when administering medication. The accusations follow a change in management and ownership, with many family members of loved ones at the facility saying the level of care provided has declined ever since.
A former employee says she saw residents not getting medication, cleaning not being done and food being served cold. There were also police reports showing that ten thousand dollars in morphine had disappeared, as reported at ABC 6 News.
