AUSTIN, Minn.- Everything’s coming up daisy’s in downtown Austin. The Flower Basket Committee is hoping to acquire funds for a project to decorate both the poles and pots on Main Street with flowers aimed at creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors while also instilling pride in long-term residents, the chair of the Flower Basket Committee said, adding, she feels great about the community’s support. The plan is to have the decorations ready to go in mid to late May of next year.
