Austin man charges with driving drunk and crashing into Rochester home sentenced

Rochester, MN – An Austin man was sentenced yesterday to more than 6-years in prison for driving drunk and crashing into a Rochester home last year. Marcus Antwan Martin was found standing outside a car that had driven through a chain-link fence and landed inside a house at 609 14 1/2 Street Southeast. Martin’s blood alchol was double the legal limit. It was the 49-year-old’s fourth felony DWI conviction and his 7th overall DWI conviction since 2014, according to the criminal complaint.
