MASON CITY, Iowa [s/albert lea] – The suspect arrested in a 2022 shooting just south of Albert lea in Mason City is pleading not guilty. Stephen Allen Tidemanson, 24, is charged with attempted murder in connection to the incident in which he and another person got into a fight just after Thanksgiving [November 28], on 3rd Street NW, and Tidemanson is accused of shooting his adversary in the chest. Tidemanson is scheduled to stand trial starting February 7. He remains jailed on $100,000 bond.
