AUSTIN, Minn. – An Austin fugitive was taken into custody after holding police at bay for hours at a residence in southwest Austin Tuesday afternoon. After a lengthy standoff, Terrance Book was found hiding in an attic at the 2nd St. SW. residence. Book was wanted in connection to an armed robbery. Authorities confiscited two firearms in the residence, one of which was reported stolen. New charges are possible, police said. A court date for Book is pending.
