Austin man convicted in three different crimes has been sentenced

An Austin man facing several charges stemming from three different crimes has been sentenced to jail time.
31-year old Jacob Jarrett Sheldon was convicted and sentenced Thursday in Mower County District Court on firearm and drug possession, trespassing, and DWI charges stemming from incidents in February, April and June of 2022. A judge ordered Jarrett to one year in jail on the drug charges, and 90 days each on the trespassing and DWI charge, as part of the plea deal.
