An investigatin is continuing after a Minnesota woman who vanished without a trace died under “unknown circumstances.” According to an update on Monday, Alexis Whitehawk-Ruiz, also known as Lexi, went missing shortly before her 21st birthday and was last seen on Nov. 16. Her body was found in the Mississippi River in April, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office, who said While Whitehawk-Ruiz’s cause of death was determined to be an apparent drowning, the manner of her death is undetermined.
