Albert Lea man charged in 2019 drug case accepts plea deal

An Albert Lea man charged in 2019 with several drug charges accepted a plea deal Monday in Freeborn County District Court. Quentin Lamont Guyton reportedly received a box in the mail with four pounds of marijuana.
The 36 year old is presently serving a 120-month federal drug sentence. Court documents state he will receive credit for all time served in Minnesota with both the state and federal charges since Nov. 20, 2019, according to the plea agreement. Sentencing is slated for Oct. 25.
