Gov. Tim Walz and health officials are urging residents to comply with COVID safety protocols as cases contiue to climb in the state. The governor said Monday that residents need to step up their compliance with masking, social distancing and avoiding crowds if the state is going to prevent the rapid spread that has made the upper Midwest one of the country’s worst COVID hotspots.
