An Austin toddler is recovering after being seriously injured in a hit and run Saturday. The Austin Police Dept. says the 3-year-old boy was struck near the intersection of 1st Street and 3rd Avenue SW, where his mother had been visiting with friends. The child was airlifted to St Marys Hospital. Police are asking anyone who lives in the area where the boy was hit and has home security camera systems to check and see if the incident was captured.
