Albert Lea booze bandit gets probation

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – An Albert Lea teen who pleaded guilty to stealing liquor will not go to jail. Bryan Nickolaus Bell, 18, was sentenced to five years of supervised probation on Friday and ordered to pay $2,542 in restitution. Bell must also do 40 hours of community work service. He was arrested in August after Albert Lea police said Bell was caught inside someone’s home with a duffel bag filled with bottles of booze.
