Residents were ushered to safety Tuesday morning after fire broke out at Campus View Apartments. The Austin Fire Department responded to the complex and said when they arrived smoke was seen billowing from the upstairs apartment in the 1100 building and residents were evacuated as a precaution, according to a press release. The cause of the fire remians under investigation.
