The Albert Lea City Council is considering whether to waive portions of city license fees for businesses that have had to remain closed due to state executive orders. The council addressed the issue during a workshop Monday, as COVID health and safety measures have required bars and restaurants to remain closed for in-person dining to help prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
