Waseca’s annual Lakefest music festival is on for this Fourth of July. The event will occur rain or shine and is free to the public at Clear Lake Park. There will be five musical acts, going from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m., and featuring Charlie Parr as the headliner. -0-

The Wells Police Department says they are continuing to follow all leads after a string of recent vandalism at Half Moon Park. An investigation revealed that water fountains were damaged at the park on numerous occasions and several items were also tipped over and stolen from the City Golf Course. -0-

Austin, MN (KROC-AM News) – An Austin man has accepted a plea deal in connection to a fatal 2019 traffic crash. 33-year-old Christopher Stewart pleaded guilty Monday for the crash south of Austin that claimed the life of an 89-year-old man. He is scheduled to be sentenced on October 8th. -0-
